E30 unplugging icv does nothing. I'm getting around 2k without fluctuation.


E30 unplugging icv does nothing. A couple things I've tried to troubleshoot the ICV: Sep 30, 2012 · Nothing really does - cold engine, temp sensor disconnected, temp sensor shorted, O2 sensor disconnectednothing. Then check to see that the idle switch closes when the throttle arm is 1mm off the stop screw. It should simply open the ICV by putting voltage across it and letting air bypass the Jan 2, 2011 · I have the motronic system with the three pin icv (idle control valve). With lots of throttle I could keep it running at 3k or above, but it would die at lower throttle openings. Having trouble with my idle.
